Fonderie Officine Meccaniche S.Agostino S.p.a, is a leading company that works in the field of rolls and rings for siderurgical and extra-siderurgical applications. It has been on the market since 1956, with over 150000 items produced.
The company is located in the industrial compound of Legnano, northwest Milan, on an area of approximately 40,000 m2 with a productivity of 5,000 T /year of finished goods with a maximum weight of 12 tons.
The commercial network has a great expansion on the national and international market where, all-over-the World, the main steel groups and manufacturers of rolling mill plants are supplied.

Fonderie Officine Meccaniche S.Agostino S.p.a was founded in 1956 by Ing. Enrico Balzarini, who, during the period of economic boom, understood that steel industry would be one of the leading part of it.

Technical assistance

The Service Department, available before and after sales, assures all the technical support which is necessary for the selection and best usage of rolls. It also focuses on the analysis and development of research topics intended to meet the growing and innovative requirements of rolling mills.

Calibration

Calibration work, on rolls and rings, according to customer’s request.

Shrinking

Shrinking of the supplied rolls on machined shafts, accordingly with the customer’s specifics or even supplied by the customer himself.

Peripheral and central deep drilling

Processing of deep and central drilling on rolls according to customer specifications, and the technical characteristics of the boring machine.

Third parties processings

Turning, milling, boring, flat and convex grinding (concave and convex), superfinishing, rubber / plastic roll regeneration work.

Raw castings

Available on customer’s specific request
