Machining

The Mechanical Workshops are two, one of them directly connected with the Foundry through roller ways for the transportation of raw rolls. It has horizontal, vertical and CNC furnaces, boring machines, grinding machines, numerical control adjustments and anything necessary to provide customers with ready-to-use rolls.

The production capacity is 5000 t / year with equipment capable to produce rolls up to 1400 mm diameter.

Non-destructive tests are carried-out for each type of roll during the production cycle.

On behalf of third parties, mechanical machining is also available for deep drilling, curved grinding and superfinishing
